Shauna Garvin

Shauna has worked with Michael Boylan Litigation since its inception. Shauna was a trainee of Michael Boylan and qualified as a solicitor in December 2022.

During her years with the firm, she has worked on a wide array of cases arising from delays in diagnosis, surgical errors, birth injuries, ophthalmic injuries and dental injuries. Shauna also has experience with Inquests and the Coroner’s Court.

Shauna worked for a considerable period on the case of Bennett v HSE & Ors which was successfully settled after a 6 week trial. This was a complex vaccine damage, lead case claiming compensation for damage caused to the Plaintiff by the administration of Pandemrix Swine Flu vaccine. A settlement scheme was subsequently established by this firm and the State Claims Agency and resolved scores of similar vaccine damage cases resulting in compensation payments of approximately €80 million.

Shauna is a graduate of University College Dublin where she completed a Bachelor of Civil Law (Law with History).
