Kevin is a graduate of University College Galway where he completed a Bachelor of Civil Law and has subsequently undertaken further studies including an LLM in Advanced Legal Practice specialising in Medical Negligence with Leeds Beckett University.
Kevin qualified as a Solicitor in 2022 having also been a recipient of the Law Society of Ireland Access Scholarship Award. Prior to joining Michael Boylan Litigation in late 2024, he practised as a Solicitor in a renowned national law firm.
Kevin has an in-depth knowledge of cases concerning Foetal Valproate Spectrum Disorder (FVSD) and the prescription of sodium valproate (Epilim). Kevin is proud to work alongside the Organisation for Anti-Convulsant Syndromes Ireland (OACS Ireland) particularly in relation to the Non-Statutory Inquiry that began on 22 July 2025 regarding the historical licensing and use of sodium valproate in women of childbearing potential in the Republic of Ireland.
Kevin also acts in relation to cases concerning further aspects of medical negligence such as surgical error, birth injuries and wrongful deaths amongst others.
